On Friday evening, Toms River P.D. officers arrested two for heroin possesion
According to The Toms River Township Police Department’s Chief Michael Mastronardy, a pair local of citizens were arrested for heroin possession on Friday evening. “Just before 6 p.m. on Friday evening at the intersection of Route 37 and Route 166, Officer Ryan Quinn arrested Christopher Viscel, 43, of Baylor Avenue in South Toms River and Robin Warden, 33, of Webster Avenue in Seaside Heights, for possession of heroin,” said Mastronardy. The chief indicated that the arrest was made by Quinn after performing a motor vehicle stop of Viscel and Warden’s vehicle. When Middletown police made a routine traffic stop recently, they ended up arresting the driver on major drug possession and intent to distribute charges. On Monday, Nov. 7, at approximately 3:40 p.m., Patrolman Darrin Simon stopped a 2010 silver Toyota Corolla on Leonardville Road, in the Leonardo section of Middletown, for various traffic violations. The driver, who was identified as Tracy Montalvo, 40, of Everett Street, Toms River, was found to be driving on a suspended license and a warrant had been issued for his arrest for failure to appear in court. Montalvo was also found to be in possession of 50 packets of a white powdery substance, suspected to be heroin, as well as hypodermic needles. The passenger in the vehicle, identified …
