Two Found Dead In Separate Incidents Thought To Be Narcotics Related
Police investigating whether the Friday night deaths were caused by drug overdoses
Toms River police are investigating two deaths that occurred Friday night involving possible narcotics overdoses. The first call was made just before 8 p.m. at a residence on Bridgeport Drive. A 22 year-old male was found unresponsive and rushed to Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, by the Pleasant Plains First Aid Squad, said Toms River Police Chief Michael Mastronardy. At 11:30 p.m police responded to a home on Valley Stream Drive where a 33-year-old male was found in his bathroom after friends went to check on him, said Mastronardy.
