Police Investigating Pleasant Plains Burglary
Computer valued at $1,000 reported missing from Pleasant Plains home
Police are investigating a burglary during which a computer apparently was taken from a home in Toms River's Pleasant Plains section. The burglary is believed to have occurred between 1 and 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon at a Hickory Street residence, said Chief of Police Michael Mastronardy. A 38-year-old resident went to the store during that time and returned home to find that an unlocked front door was used to gain entry to the house and an Apple iMac valued at $1,000 was missing, the chief said. Mastronardy said that the suspect's identity is unknown at this time. Officer Ryan Rush is investigating the incident, the chief said.
