We got a few questions in before Santa heads off for his busiest night of the year
This year at Toms River Patch, we've interviewed a lot of different folks. Residents, volunteers, police chiefs, mayors, candidates, lawyers, even leprechauns. But we were quite excited when we were granted the chance to interview Santa Claus. We first spotted Santa this year at the Toms River tree lighting after he arrived by fire truck, and we wondered if he would answer a few questions for us. Seeing the long line of children hoping to sit on his lap though, Santa asked if we wouldn't mind giving our questions to one of his helpers at the Toms River Fire Department for answering. The Lies We Tell to Keep Santa Going
It has been a while since I bought myself a pair of shoes. Number one, I hate shopping (horrors!). Number two, I have big feet and can never find shoes I like that are comfortable. But the other day, I had an urge to buy a new pair of shoes and headed over to the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets to try my luck. The store I ended up in had a pair of shoes that I liked and were comfortable - but it could not be so easy - they did not have the color I wanted in my size. The salesperson wasn’t going to let me leave without the sale so she called a few other stores, found the pair I needed and arranged to have them shipped directly to my house. The shoes would arrive in two to five days at my front door. Perfect! Two to five days later, I pick up …

PHOTOS: Santa and Frosty visited the Winding River Ice Rink from 2 to 4 pm.
Santa is pretty good on ice skates. But the younger set can literally skate circles around him. Well, children could also crowd around Saint Nick and Frosty the Snowman, give them hugs, and share some high-fives on ice skates, too. That was part of the fun of Santa and Frosty's visit to the Winding River Ice Rink from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in Toms River. The holiday icons hung out with skaters and did plenty of ice skating themselves. Check out our gallery from the rink event.

We spotted Santa at the Toms River Tree Lighting earlier this season and approached him for an interview. Amazingly, the jolly old elf fit some time into his holiday schedule to answer some questions from Toms River Patch. We jumped at the chance for an interview with Santa, taking it as a sign we must have been good this year. But given it's such a rare opportunity to talk to Old Saint Nick, we wanted to share the chance with our readers and see what you think we should ask him. Santa has a lot more coal to deliver this year after the November election results , a lot of bad has been left behind ...again ! You vote in the same bunch of political shams and expect differant results, because they made new promises , which again they won't keep or HONOR !
