Brick Police Searching for Pair Suspected of Burglarizing Cars

Suspects caught on camera in Toms River

Brick Police are on the hunt for a pair of car burglars who went on a multi-county shopping spree after lifting credit cards from victims' vehicles. Capt. John Rein said the pair is wanted in several car burglaries that occured last Tuesday, Nov. 30 in Brick. Cops say the suspects used credit cards snatched from the burglarized vehicles to purchase items in Brick, Toms River and Lawrenceville. An investigation by police turned up surveillance video of the suspects entering the Hess gas station on Rt. 37 West in Toms River and buying items with the stolen cards at the station's store. The suspects are thought to be operating a black, 2000-2004 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC pick-up truck with an extended cab. Anyone with information regarding …
