@ bernie, Wait till TR gets hit with their civil suit for not replenishing the dunes. Doubled and tripled taxes on the Island properties and collected millions in beach fee. And not a penny of that went back into the island. It goes to the mainland and their 3 high schools.

@Re-tired, we are all paying over market. I had a price of $18,000 before the summer to raise my house. I spoke to the same company in January who said that it will probably be about $22,000 because of building material increase. I said ok mail me the contract. The contract came a week ago, $43,000. Same job, same company, Before the summer the company was making good money raising a house here and there at there original prices. Now they have 1000s of them and they are charging more than double.
